Something weird (Part 18)

The last time we saw the gang, they were in homeroom finally uncovering what Chris' plan might be.

"Well, at least now we have some idea of what Chris is doing! The question is, where is he? He could be anywhere!" exclaimed Jordan.
The group all sat in silence, dumbfounded of what to do next. The bell then rang for homeroom to start.
Later. . .
RING RING RRRRRIINGGG the bell chimed.
School was out and the gang was waiting for the bus at the bus stop.
"I have been thinking about the place all day! Jeez, we don't even know what Chris is going to do with the eggs once they hatch!!" screamed a fustrated Jake.
"Calm down Jake! People are looking at you like you are crazy. We'll just wait for clues or some other evidence to turn up." explained and soothed Andy.
"You know, I can't shake this feeling that we are missing something. Like a major point. Something that should be plainly seen, but we are just focusing on the wrong thing. It's weird." Jordan said slowly.
"I also can't shake the feeling of always being watched. I feel like I always have to be on my toes. Anticipating what's to come. Like a CIA agent. I always have to be aware." Jake said thoughtfully.
"Yeah, now that you guys mention it, I feel the same way too. Like ever since we found out about this case, we should suddenly know everything, but it's to plain to see. I also feel like we are being watched." said Andy.
The gang turned around to look behind them.  And he thought he saw something in the bushes, but quickly shook it off and thought it was an illusion. The gang focus returned back to the problem at hand.
"That was weird." said Jake.
"Yeah, I felt like we should've seen something." concluded Jordan.
